The hallmark of Mario Botta's architecture, characterized by purely geometric and cleverly interconnected volumes, is clearly visible in the Charlotte chair. The cylindrical element is the starting point that, in the upper section, extends up inside to create a chair that seems suspended in mid-air. The large yet empty volumes make Charlotte a monolithic yet lightweight chair. Hand woven with thin, constant-section natural wicker, the Charlotte line is suitable for both domestic and commercial environments.

The Ripples bench by Toyo Ito, winner of the 2004 Golden Compass, has blossomed into a collection of different furniture complements. Amongst them, we may highlight the Bifronte side table, where a small portion of Ripples is framed in a shelf of extra clear glass, creating a "trompe l'oeil" effect of mid-air suspension. Bifronte becomes a nightstand with the addition of a capacious drawer on wheels. This presents white lacquered and walnut fronts, to better integrate with the overall chromatic disposition of the sleeping area.

La panca Ripples di Toyo Ito, vincitrice del Compasso d’Oro 2004, ha dato origine ad una collezione composta da diversi complementi d’arredo. Uno di questi è il tavolino Bifronte, in cui una piccola porzione di Ripples è incorniciata in un ponte di vetro extra chiaro, dando la sensazione che galleggi nell’aria. Bifronte può diventare anche un comodino grazie all’aggiunta di un capiente cassetto su ruote, dotato di un fronte laccato bianco e uno in noce canaletto, per adattarsi ai colori della zona notte.

Eines davon ist der Beistelltisch Bifronte, in den ein kleiner Teil von Ripples in eine brückenartige Struktur aus Weißglas eingelassen wurde, so dass dieser in der Luft zu schweben scheint. Bifronte wird zu einem Nachttisch mit einer großen Schublade auf Rollen, mit einer weiß lackierten Vorderseite und einer Rückseite aus Schwarznussholz und passt sich so perfekt den Farben des Schlafbereichs an.

Uno de ellos es la pequeña mesa Bifronte, en la cual se enmarca una pequeña porción de Ripples en una cubierta de vidrio extra claro, dando la sensación de estar flotando en el aire. Bifronte se convierte en una mesilla de noche con la adición de un gran cajón con ruedas, con una cara pintada de blanco y la otra de madera de nogal, para que coincida con los colores de la zona del dormitorio.

La table basse Bifronte est l’un d’entre eux, où une petite partie de Ripples est encadrée dans un pont de verre très clair, donnant l’impression qu’elle flotte dans les airs. Bifronte devient une table de chevet en ajoutant un grand tiroir sur roulettes, doté d’un côté laqué en blanc et de l’autre en noyer canaletto, pour s’adapter aux couleurs de la chambre.

Hexagon is a modular system composed of two irregular hexagons supporting each other, which allows for the creation of endless compositions for every need. It can also be used outdoors. It is available in painted metal, Lecce stone or okoumè wood.
The latter, also known as Gaboon, is native of tropical West Africa, hence it withstands humidity and light rain. The Lecce stone is a limestone typical of the Salento region, superbly suited to withstand severe weather conditions.

Hexagon è un sistema modulare composto da due esagoni irregolari che, affiancati l’uno all’altro, permettono la possibilità di creare infinite composizioni per ogni esigenza. Utilizzabile come ripiano o seduta anche in ambiente outdoor, è disponibile in metallo verniciato, pietra leccese o legno okumè. Questo materiale, noto anche come gaboon, è originario dall’Africa tropicale e non teme né l’umidità, né la pioggia leggera. La pietra leccese, invece, è una roccia calcarea tipica della regione salentina, idonea a sopportare condizioni climatiche severe.

Hexagon ist ein modulares System aus zwei unregelmäßigen Sechsecken, die nebeneinander angeordnet die Möglichkeit für unzählige Kombinationen für jeden Bedarf zulassen. Hexagon ist auch für den Outdoorbereich geeignet und in den Ausführungen lackiertes Metall, Lecce-Stein oder Okoumé erhältlich.
Diese Holzart, auch als Gabun-Mahagoni bekannt, stammt ursprünglich aus dem tropischen Westafrika. Feuchtigkeit und leichter Regen machen ihr nichts aus. Der Lecce-Stein ist ein typischer Kalkstein der Region des Salento, der auch schwierige Wetterbedingungen aushält.

La pierre de Lecce est une roche calcaire typique de la région de Salento, qui supporte parfaitement des conditions climatiques rigoureuses.

Последний материал также известен под названием габун – тропическое дерево из западной Африки, которому не страшны ни влажность, ни мелкий дождь. Камень из Лечче – это горная известняковая порода, добываемая в регионе Саленто, которая отлично подходит для среды с особыми климатическими условиями.

Tide reflects the style of its designer, Karim Rashid, who worked with various movements and dynamics in this project. The horizontal development of the front, made of evenly-spaced, thin sheets of MDF, confers a gentle and sculptured aspect to the whole. In addition to its remarkable design, Tide appears as a capacious and functional cupboard, with two drawers and a lift system for the living room, or with two drawers and two large baskets for the bedroom.

Tide rispecchia lo stile del suo designer, Karim Rashid, che in questo progetto ha lavorato sul movimento e la dinamicità. Lo sviluppo orizzontale del fronte, realizzato con sottili lamine di MDF equidistanti tra loro, conferisce all’insieme un aspetto morbido e scultoreo. Oltre all’estetica, Tide si presenta come una madia capiente e funzionale, con due cassetti e un’anta a ribalta per l’ambiente living, oppure con due cassetti e due capienti cestoni per l’ambiente notte.

Tide spiegelt den Stil des Designers Karim Rashid wider, der bei diesem Projekt mit Bewegung und Dynamik gearbeitet hat. Die horizontale Gestaltung der Vorderseite aus dünnen MDF-Platten, die jeweils den gleichen Abstand voneinander haben, verleiht dem Ganzen ein weiches, skulpturartiges Aussehen. Nicht nur die Ästhetik, sondern auch die Funktionalität ist bei Tide ausschlaggebend, sei es als großes und funktionales Sideboard mit zwei Schubladen und einer Klappe für das Wohnzimmer oder mit zwei Schubladen und zwei großen Körben für das Schlafzimmer.

Hexagon is a modular system composed of two irregular hexagons supporting each other, which allows for the creation of endless compositions for every need. It can also be used outdoors. It is available in painted metal, Lecce stone or okoumè wood.
The latter, also known as Gaboon, is native of tropical West Africa, hence it withstands humidity and light rain. The Lecce stone is a limestone typical of the Salento region, superbly suited to withstand severe weather conditions.

Hexagon è un sistema modulare composto da due esagoni irregolari che, affiancati l’uno all’altro, permettono la possibilità di creare infinite composizioni per ogni esigenza. Utilizzabile come ripiano o seduta anche in ambiente outdoor, è disponibile in metallo verniciato, pietra leccese o legno okumè. Questo materiale, noto anche come gaboon, è originario dall’Africa tropicale e non teme né l’umidità, né la pioggia leggera. La pietra leccese, invece, è una roccia calcarea tipica della regione salentina, idonea a sopportare condizioni climatiche severe.

Hexagon ist ein modulares System aus zwei unregelmäßigen Sechsecken, die nebeneinander angeordnet die Möglichkeit für unzählige Kombinationen für jeden Bedarf zulassen. Hexagon ist auch für den Outdoorbereich geeignet und in den Ausführungen lackiertes Metall, Lecce-Stein oder Okoumé erhältlich.
Diese Holzart, auch als Gabun-Mahagoni bekannt, stammt ursprünglich aus dem tropischen Westafrika. Feuchtigkeit und leichter Regen machen ihr nichts aus. Der Lecce-Stein ist ein typischer Kalkstein der Region des Salento, der auch schwierige Wetterbedingungen aushält.

Hexagon es un sistema modular compuesto de dos hexágonos irregulares, uno junto al otro, que ofrecen la posibilidad de crear composiciones infinitas para cada necesidad. También se puede utilizar al aire libre; está disponible en metal pintado, piedra de Lecce o madera okoumé.
Esta última, conocida también como Gaboon, es originaria del África tropical occidental, y resiste a la humedad y a la lluvia ligera. La piedra de Lecce es una piedra caliza típica de la región de Salento, y es ideal para soportar condiciones climáticas severas.

Utilisable également à l’extérieur, il est proposé en métal peint, en pierre de Lecce ou en bois okoumé. Ce dernier, également appelé gaboon, est originaire d’Afrique tropicale de l’Ouest et ne craint ni l’humidité ni la pluie fine. La pierre de Lecce est une roche calcaire typique de la région de Salento, qui supporte parfaitement des conditions climatiques rigoureuses.

Hexagon – это модульная система, состоящая из двух шестиугольников неправильной формы, которые будучи установленными рядом друг с другом, предоставляют возможность создания бесконечных композиций, соответствующих любым дизайнерским требованиям. Столики можно использовать для решений под открытым небом: в наличии модели из окрашенного металла, камня из Лечче (известняка) или дерева окуме.
Последний материал также известен под названием габун – тропическое дерево из западной Африки, которому не страшны ни влажность, ни мелкий дождь. Камень из Лечче – это горная известняковая порода, добываемая в регионе Саленто, которая отлично подходит для среды с особыми климатическими условиями.

METAMORPHOSIS — Sebastian Errazuriz, 2010
Chilean born, New York based artist Sebastian Errazuriz seeks to
create works that can remind people of their mortality, invite them
to look again at their lives and question their daily routines.
In 2010, his path crossed Horm's when its wood craftsmen helped him give birth to his vision, the Metamorphosis shelf, made of entirely hand-carved Baltic birch plywood. The inspiration for this one-off artpiece came from his grandmother's ivy-covered garden, whose dark branches that crawled along the walls were so thick that he would use them as natural shelves for his garden toys.
Sebastian, whose unique pieces have been incorporated in over 40 exhibitions including Tokyo, New York, Paris and Barcelona is exclusively represented by Cristina Grajales Gallery, New York.

Creativity and innovation come together in a luminous sculpture constructed with a 2-mm wooden material, laser etched, and folded in an origami-like fashion, thanks to a complex technological process patented by Horm. The LED light, passing through the structure holes, creates unique plays of shadows that allow Steven Holl to offer the same emotion his architecture conveys albeit at a different scale.

Creatività e innovazione tecnologica si fondono in questa scultura luminosa costruita con un materiale ligneo dallo spessore di 2 millimetri, inciso al laser e piegato come un origami grazie a un complesso processo tecnologico brevettato da Horm. La luce a led, filtrando attraverso i fori della struttura, riproduce nell'ambiente circostante giochi di ombre unici che permettono a Steven Holl di regalare la stessa emozione che si respira nelle sue architetture, con un semplice salto di scala.

Kreativität und technologische Innovation verbinden sich zu einer Lichtskulptur, die aus einem hölzernen Material mit einer Materialstärke von nur 2 mm hergestellt wurde, das mit Laser graviert und wie ein Origami gefaltet wurde. La creatividad y la innovación tecnológicas se unen en una escultura de luz construida con madera de 2 mm de grosor, que está grabada con láser y doblada como un origami, gracias a un complejo proceso tecnológico patentado por Horm. La luz LED que pasa a través de los agujeros de la estructura, reproduce juegos de sombras únicos a su alrededor que permiten a Steven Holl ofrecer la misma emoción que se puede sentir en su arquitectura, con un simple cambio de escala.

В осветительной структуре сочетаются творческий подход и современные технологии. Абажур лампы создан из древесной плиты толщиной 2 мм, обработанной лазерной резкой (сложный технологический процесс запатентован компанией Horm), в результате чего он стал похож на оригами. Светодиодные лампочки, свет которых проникает через отверстия структуры, создают уникальную игру света и тени, что позволило автору Стивену Холлу воплотить в этом изделии ту же эмоциональность, которой наполнены его архитектурные произведения.
